Contact & About Thomas

Hola!

My name is Thomas Johnson.

I specialize in strategic partnerships and development fundraising and have a bachelor of science in behavioral psychology.

I have 9+ years of experience in development, leading direct response marketing campaigns, building fundraising teams, and successfully engaging community members/stakeholders. I know how to build partnerships with donors and I have built both the systems and teams to do it.

I have focused on understanding the strategy and method of development, from setting up moves management plans to reach out and cultivate relationships to building out teams and processes that deliver both the short-term and long-term goals of an organization.

I currently work with a pro-liberty organization in Arlington, VA in the Development department where I serve as project lead on acquisitions and point of contact with development vendors.

My degree is from  Liberty University, where I focused on social psychology, cognitive therapy, and social issues relating to personal freedom. To demonstrate the over-achiever attitude, I also engaged in activism, community-based agorism, and online business design. From 2006 to 2011,  I worked as a missionary associate to Bolivia, South America helping to teach English as a second language and spread the Gospel.

I believe in empowering individuals to personally take initiative and responsibility to meet the needs of their communities.
